Senator Lindsey Graham Censured

Written by Administrator on 01 December 2009.

South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham has apparently stepped on a few too many toes this time. Senator Graham, who claims to have "traveled the world and seen the effects of a warming planet" has been working with liberals in an attempt to make the United States the best damned third world economy on the planet. Now, the Charleston County Republican Party has censured Graham, stating the following.

"U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham -- in the name of bipartisanship -- continues to weaken the Republican brand and tarnish the ideals of freedom, rule of law, and fiscal conservatism,"

If I could personally interview Graham, I would first ask him how he traveled the world.  Notice how these Global Warming fear mongers always have a private jet handy? Secondly, I would like to know how he traveled a cooling planet and saw the effects of a warming planet.

Either way, Lindsey has tipped his hat to the left one too many times for most Conservatives, and I am sure this is the tip of the iceberg that is headed his way. This, combined with the recent elections in New Jersey and Virginia, as well as the less discussed Atlanta Mayor election are all pointing to tough times ahead for leftists and "middle of the road" candidates.

Earlier this year, Senator Graham had the following to say in warning his fellow Republicans about being too Conservative.

“To those people who are pursuing purity, you’ll become a club not a party,” Graham told POLITICO in the Capitol Wednesday. “Those people who are trying to embrace conservatism in a thoughtful way that fits the region and the state and the district are going to do well. Conservativism is an asset. Blind ideology is not.”

While the Senator has a few moments that make a Conservative proud, only a true moron would find that gem out of a day that saw sweeping losses for Democrats. Remember, Ronald Reagan won everywhere except the Sate that also elected that buffoon Jesse Ventura to be their Governor. Give Senator Graham a pink boa. He seems to want to be part of the Minnesota landscape. I say let him be. Anywhere but D.C.
