Obama The First Gay President?

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Obama The First Gay President?

First and foremost, let me get this out of the way. No, I will not stop using the subtitle "Not that there's anything wrong with that" whenever the word "Gay" appears in the main title. Yes, I know I have worn it out and no, I don't care. That aside, when I heard that Newsweek had assigned this title to President Obama I couldn't help but think that somewhere out there, Larry Sinclair must be having a good laugh. It turns out that I was right. But I figured that now would be a good time to take a look at what actually happened this week, and how it changes the outlook for Gay Marriage in this country. Also, what impact will this have on the upcoming election? We could argue back and forth all day about this being a political move or a true change of heart, but that would be pointless. No matter what type of move it is, it will have political implications. So the important question is what will those be?

Ron Paul and Keith Judd

What does Keith Judd's showing in West Virginia say about Ron Paul?

Written by Steve Parry, Posted in Say What?

Ron Paul and Keith Judd

For those who haven't been following the Primaries all that closely, it may come as a surprise to you that a convict currently serving time in Texas named Keith Judd gave President Obama a run for his money in the West Virginia Democratic Primary. Judd finished with a whopping 41% of the vote to Obama's 59%, highlighting the true devastating consequences that the President's energy policies have had on this coal mining State. Interestingly enough, Ron Paul supporters seized on this moment to tell us how these results show how he is the only Candidate who can beat President Obama in 2012. You can't make this stuff up, folks, so it here is straight from the horses mouth.

Desert

Yes, you read that right.

Written by Steve Parry, Posted in The Liberal Lexicon

Desert

We're not dealing with cakes and pies here. You did not read that wrong, and I didn't misspell it. Am I suggesting that liberals don't know what a desert is? Yes I am, and I can prove it. Some of them may even come from a State like Arizona or New Mexico where they live in a desert and don't know what it is. I was completely unaware of this situation until First Lady Michelle Obama appeared on Mike Huckabee's show on FOX News to talk about her nutrition programs. When I first heard her say it, I thought I must have misunderstood. Michelle is widely regarded as a very intelligent woman. Could she have possible said what I thought she just said? She had. And this was how I was first introduced to the "Food Desert."

The Real Life Of Julia

Having fun with President Obama's latest generalization of women.

The Real Life Of Julia

For the last few years I have been questioning the true genius of our President. I must now say that I stand corrected. Upon hearing about the story from his book about a girl he had dated, and learning that it was in fact a "composite girlfriend" I figured the guy would be in big time trouble with women voters. After all, anybody who has dated one of these specimens has learned by now not to say "you women are all alike" or "it figures that a woman would say that" or "your sister is really hot." That last one doesn't really apply here, but you shouldn't say that. It will get you hurt. But back to the genius of President Obama, this guy has managed to find a way to lump every women he has ever dated into one chick, give her a generic name, and tell her story without outraging the ladies. And if that wasn't enough, he created a new fictional girl to show how his policies will help all women who are exactly alike throughout the course of there extremely similar existence. Her name is Julia. Let's have fun with her, shall we?

Oh, The Humanity!

Will dog lovers do in Romney?

Written by Steve Parry, Posted in Politics

Oh, The Humanity!

It seems a major controversy is brewing for the Romney campaign. Apparently, back in the 1980's (that's like a whole other decade) Mitt loaded up the clan in the Family Truckster (a real car that real families take on vacation) and headed to Maine for some r&r (raspberries and rickets). Just a typical American family going on a typical vacation to a typical tourist spot. Right? Nothing to see here. Move along. Accept... At this point I should warn women, children, the elderly, anyone with a weak heart, hearing impairments, or a propensity for anal leakage to turn away... They strapped their dog to the roof of the family truckster !!! Now, for the disclaimer. He was in a kennel, it was turned around backwards to minimize the wind, and they stopped regularly to beat him. Or was it to feed him? I can't remember. But it was one of those. Here is what some idiot animal rights activist had to say about it.

President Obama Agrees With Rush Limbagh's Comments On Fluke

See? I Told You So!

President Obama Agrees With Rush Limbagh's Comments On Fluke

I know what you are thinking. I'm wrong, right? President Obama called Fluke to offer his support. He not only does not agree with Limbaugh, he completely disagrees with him. It is the Republicans that are sexist. It is Limbaugh who attacked all women with his comments. It is President Obama who is indeed standing up for Sandra Fluke, and all women. Rush even admits that his comments were wrong now, so score this as a win for Obama and the left. Right? Perhaps I will. It is a win for Obama most likely, and it is a win for the left. But if it is, what does this say about women in our Country? I found an interesting article over at the Associated Press, and it is chock full of good stuff that 99% of you will miss when you read it. I had the advantage of knowing what the left already thinks of women. I had the foreknowledge that Obama and company already view you ladies as sluts and prostitutes. I set in motion a plan to prove it. I didn't need to, thank you AP.

Did MSNBC Just Say That?

Posted in Politics

Back To Bama

You can color me shocked. For anyone who watches MSNBC and has followed the debate on the Alabama Illegal Immigration law, you know what the stance of that network has been. The law is racist, and it unfairly targets Hispanics. It makes their mere existence a crime. On and on they go with their silly stories about how families could be arrested just for going out for an ice cream cone... wait a second, that one wasn't a silly left wing moonbat on MSNBC, that was our President. But I digress. If you have followed the story on a different network (one like FOX News, for example) then you likely were presented with a different view on the issue.

Is there a Dr. in the house?

Or a shovel, cuz it's getting deep!

Written by Steve Parry

Is there a Dr. in the house?

It's amazing how much can change in 3 years. In 2008, it was a Senator who told us that it was the policies of a President that were responsible for the shape of the economy. Now that Senator is President, and he is telling us that it is the failure of the Senate to work with him that is shaping our economy. 3 years ago, 7.2% unemployment was the worst economy since the Great Depression. Today, 9% unemployment is a recovery. $8 trillion in debt was unsustainable then. $12 trillion isn't enough now. It has been only 3 short years since the man who is complaining about Congress not working with him told us we should not vote for the other guy because he voted with the President 80% of the time. Yes, a lot has changed in the last 3 years. But do you remember then Senator Obama's reaction to Phil Graham's take on the economy?

Obama and Buffett

Obama and Buffett

Billionaire Warren Buffett recently wrote an op ed for the New York Times in which he complained that he just wasn't being taxed enough. He griped that he and his "mega-rich" friends had been "coddled long enough" and it was time for our Government to get serious about "shared sacrifice". President Obama seized on this opportunity to propose the "Buffett Rule", which would ensure that millionaires are taxed at a higher rate than their non millionaire counterparts. We are supposed to pay no attention to the fact that the average American pays 16% of their income in federal taxes, while the average millionaire pays 20%, which means that this is already happening without the Buffett rule. I suppose that we are also supposed to pay no attention to the fact that Warren Buffett not only has the opportunity to pay more taxes than he already is, but he also has a damn good reason to.

Paul Krugman and Aliens

Making sense of Obama

Written by Steve Parry, Posted in Politics

Paul Krugman and Aliens

Recently, Paul Krugman was on CNN describing how an alien attack would help our economic recovery. If you have not already seen it, no, this is not a joke. He said it and repeated it, so it was not a slip up either. In the video below, I have a little fun at his expense pointing out how silly of a notion it is, and discussing what it means for the Obama economic efforts if some far out scenario is needed to make his plans work. What I did not address in the video is the intellectual dishonesty contained in Paul Krugman's statement. In 2003, Paul was speaking at Berkley when he said the following. (below video)
