And It Just Won't Go Away

Written by Administrator on 14 July 2009.

Remember when the left produced a news paper clipping announcing Obama's alleged birth in Hawaii? All of a sudden, this was supposed to silence all doubters. I see your clip, and raise you this.

The question has been raised, how far will Obama go to keep from producing his Certificate Of Live Birth (as opposed to the worthless Certification of Live Birth)? Enter U.S. Army Maj. Stefan Frederick Cook, a reservist who lives in Florida, who has challenged his deployment based on his view that Barack Obama serves illegitimately as President. This view is based on President Obama's alleged foreign birth. It was the stated concern of the Major that any actions of war could become crimes if he knowingly participated under a Commander who did not have the legal authorization to order them.

Of course, CBS News listed this as yet another tin foil hat surfacing.

Conspiracy theories about where Mr. Obama was born abound in some quarters despite the fact that the Obama campaign posted the then-candidate's Hawaiian birth certificate online last year. Skeptics call the certificate a forgery, though their claims have been repeatedly debunked.

Yet here is where the story gets a little more interesting. How far will Obama go to avoid the issue? WND is reporting that the military has revoked the Major's orders.

His attorney, Orly Taitz, confirmed to WND the military has rescinded his impending deployment orders.

"We won! We won before we even arrived," she said with excitement. "It means that the military has nothing to show for Obama. It means that the military has directly responded by saying Obama is illegitimate – and they cannot fight it. Therefore, they are revoking the order!"

She continued, "They just said, 'Order revoked.' No explanation. No reasons – just revoked."

Once again, here is another legal case where all President Obama had to do was to produce the Birth Certificate to a court, and he would win the case. Yet once again, he apparently avoids the confrontation. In this case, one might question "What is in it for Obama"? In previous cases, I have pointed out how much money he has spent to keep from having to produce the document. In this case, he risks absolute mayhem. What if 10 or 100 guys or gals currently deployed or awaiting deployment followed suit? After all, the precedent this would set almost begs them to. Be it fear of later criminal prosecution, or a mere desire to get out of being deployed, this certainly is a dangerous precedent to set. We are currently involved in two major military operations, one of them escalating, the other declining, and we are letting people walk away from their sworn duty now? Why? What reason could there be other than to protect this President? How dangerous is that for the men and women currently on the front lines?

Perhaps a better question would be, how much longer can Olbermann and Company over at MSNBC call those who follow this story "tin foil hat" wearers? Seriously, in order to believe that Barack Obama was born in the United States, I must believe the following.

  1. President Obama's Grandmother is a liar.
  2. Ghana Newspapers are in on a U.S. Conspiracy against the first President of African decent.
  3. It is a logical choice to spend tens of thousands of dollars to avoid producing a document that could be obtained for less than $50.
  4. A truck driving job should be subject to higher verification standards than the office of the Presidency.

For those who continue to call this a conspiracy, consider this. Wikipedia defines a conspiracy theory as follows.

A conspiracy theory is a term that has come to refer to any theory which explains a historical or current event as the result of a secret plot by usually powerful Machiavellian conspirators,[1] such as a "secret team" or "shadow government"

I have never claimed that any group of people are conspiring here. I have repeatedly stated that my original assumption is that Barack Obama was born in Hawaii, and thus must have the evidence to prove it. I fell off of that bandwagon as the evidence against him mounted and he continued to avoid the issue. I must say that I no longer believe he has one. That having been said, who is covering this up? One man is responsible for producing the document, and one man has not done so. This is not a conspiracy, it is not a secret team or a shadow government, it is one man, Barack Obama.
